KICK IT for Mike
On November 26, 2016 we lost a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend.
In the belief that we can help others through educating children and parents about the dangers of drug use and the disease of addiction founded The MDS Foundation and the KICK IT For Mike event.
Over the last 7 years we have raised close to $200,000. This money benefits educational programs throughout the Pittsburgh area. These programs provide top notch care, professional educators and health professionals who speak to children and parents about the science of drug addiction. They focus specifically in our backyards and in small group settings where help is so needed.

The Matilda Theiss Center: Since the 1960s, the Matilda H. Theiss Health Center has provided primary health care for people of all ages, including uninsured patients. In addition, a licensed social worker Theiss Center provides a variety of social, counseling, and health promotion services, including a seniors’ health group.
Propel Schools - Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a not-for-profit federation of charter schools dedicated to catalyzing the transformation of public education so that all children have access to high-performing public schools.
